What have I been doing all my life?

I look back on empty pages
Nothing to speak of
No recollections
Of the things that I did

Do I know what I did then
It wasn't an effort
To spend time
I think through the patches of recall

Have I been who I'd want to
Can I be more to you
Does it matter that I
Don't know my own life

With each new day I forget
Again what I've done
When I've tried
And nothing can mean so much

I like this one alot but I think you could be more detailed in it and that would really bring out and show your feelings more. Although it is enjoyable, what is lacking in it is what I want to know more about; what are you forgetting? what did you want to be? and what are you now?
