Bill and Beth (Fair/Karjon 40)

"Oh look, honey, they have a Hammer!"

"I'm not riding that damn thing."

"Well I want to — come on."

"Nope."

"Oh, you big sissy, it'll be fun. Quit being such a mama's boy."

"Beth, I don't like being upside down."

"How would you know? You've never ridden it before."

"Well neither have you."

"Yeah, but I love rides like that. C'mon, please? Pretty please with sugar on top? I'll reward you later; give you anything you want. Even . . . you know."

"Hmm . . ."

"Safety bar fits kind of snug, doesn't it, Bill?"

"A little bit."

"Okay you two, watch your heads I'm closing the door."

SLAM . . . SWOOSH . . . WHIR

"Hey, you were right, this is fun. We're heading down again, hold your taters!"

"B-Bill . . ."

"Beth, you feeling alright? Your face has lost all its color."

"Get me off of this damn thing!"

SWOOSH . . . WHIR . . .

BARF . . . GAG

"Dammit Beth, this is my favorite shirt!"

Now Nora, a friend that's willing to choke on vomit to keep from showering you, is a friend indeed. Thanks for dropping by!

Thanks Natalie! I rode the hammer in my teens — ONCE.

Hehe. I love rides, but I get nervous when I see people change to a shade of green. lol This a fun little dialog piece. Natural and had good flow. =)

Oh, chuckles galore. I made my friend throw up when I demanded she go on a ride with me. I felt so bad, especially because she held it until the end so as to not barf on me. She should have.

Hold your taters, indeed.

Thanks Vickie! Yeah, her upchucking definitely spoiled the mood, I reckon.

Thanks Toby!
