Sonnet I

So what I have for you today
is what for you that I have kept
what for so long around I crept
and so my peace I shall now say
for what I feel won't go away
though for so long in me it slept
and in its game that I'm inept
I hope that fate for it I'll sway

So that is why I write to you
it is my hope its goal I'll find
that I may find the love it seeks
for I wish that 'twas that I knew
I know to us fate would be kind
so let me speak as it now aches
