LEGACY (Poem Version)

I'm not special, we're not special,
but are we special?
this is a question, I ask, all the time.

I left home, gazing at the stars,
wondering who's out there,
I took off into the cosmos, distant worlds in reach,
but one blue-red world caught my eye.

I arrived on their world, all cities in ruin,
destroyed by themselves,
I toured a city, an entertainment capital,
I picked up a sign, it read,"Welcome to Las Vegas",
I turned away and muttered,"These humans, they had potential"...
