I See You ©
Stood there,
Staring into oblivion,
a gaze, as cold
as ice
Oblivious to time, to
surroundings,
Yet I still see you
The mirror is shattered
But your reflection still shines
through
a face full of regret, pale
with fear, pain in your eyes….
I see you,
you gawp back
you reach out, touch,
I know you…
for you are no stranger…
for you, are me
