Memories

I remember everything.
I remember finding a bird in briars.
I remember the bird dying.
I remember all of my belongings going missing.
I remember being pushed underwater by my sisters.
I remember staying up late and eating pumpkin pie.
I remember staying on their heels through the woods.
I remember when the visits became less often.
I remember not wanting to call you mom.
I remember when the calls stopped.
I remember when you lost contact with me.
I remember 6th grade, when you ate lunch with me.
I remember how uncomfortable I was.
I remember the contact stopping again.
I remember you calling when you were in the hospital.
I remember thinking you might die.
I remember seeing you.
I remember how nervous I was.
I remember forgiving you.
I remember leaving.
I remember deciding to not let you in to my heart.
I remember you calling when your mother died.
I remember going to her funeral.
I remember going to Barnes and Noble.
I remember how much fun I had.
I remember trusting you.
I remember you losing contact again.
I remember thanking God I didn't let you in my heart.
I remember saying that I will never trust you now.
I remember the hurt I felt reading over this.
I remember forgiving you.
Again.
But I remember nothing.

I can't even remember which one of these happened first.

Your just like him to me now.

memories.....some we try to forget and some we treasure with all our hearts

but that is what they are a memory.....something from the PAST!!

most bad memories if you really think about it do make you stronger!

Look at you your memories and emotion towards them inspired you to write this peice.......!

and i agree with jcp......i think we all wish that some of our memories would disappear like they never happened

Memories, sometimes I wish some would just disappear like they never happened. I liked this a lot.
