With violent warrior greed
You march on to victory
Another conquest in sight
And a blood-stained sword
Your eyes burn through me
Stripping me down; violating me
Smirking at the images in your head
Confident and deliberate in deed
You plot to dine on health and youth
Daring to conquer what you know nothing about
I just laugh and shake my head
I am safe against your tyrant love
With whispered incantations
Burning incense and your talisman
Strung about a wax doll
I make a counter-clockwise stir

I enjoyed this poem that appears to be written from the point of view of a powerful wizard or sorceress living in a fantasy world out of literature like Lord of the Rings (I've read the novel three times and watched the entire movie even more).
