Aiming for new

Dealing with the same old repercussions.
Stuck in another pointless function,
Talk about a fight for individuality but no ones punchin.
They say patience is a virtue,
But waiting will just hurt you.
You steal from no man,
But take what you have to.
Don’t be another statue,
Let your past teach you.
Get some color in those eyes,
Cause that’s all that’s gonna free you.

There is a certain power to this peace, much of which pertains to doing what they tell you, only finding it to be a paradox. I especially liked your line, Patience is a virtue / but waiting will just hurt you…”

Nice job.
