Be Alone

How can you not want to be alone?
How would you not forget the obligatory party,
If you could water your plants and stare at the stars?
How could you not disregard that ring tone,
If you could paint a door red and drink imported beer?
How could you not neglect the computer,
If you could just be and think?
How can you not want to be alone?

Thanks for the comments!
I wrote it because I was feeling overwhelmed by the demands of time. First there is all the obligated time: work, school, family... Then there is the call of what I enjoy, but have to fit in somehow: friends, art, exercise...
I wish there was an untouchable time slot for simply being.
That's all.

We don't have have to worry because we are never alone. It is not good for man to be alone.

lol. I was just singing my favorite song when I saw this title and the lyric was-
"I don't want to be alone"
= hm. that's odd.
I can relate to this. I don't live alone, but sometimes I feel so isolated.
really enjoyed this.
