whatever I say
since I know better
with education
and propaganda
by my side.
(Censor the truth
about the war
and replace it with
happy faces
in uniforms)
And if you lie dead
with a poisoned apple
by your side
then I am the poisoner
(hey, I earn money
for that perfectly round
and shiny

Very vivid and emotive. We do live in a magician's world, for when it comes to truth who is to say what is reality and illusion? You grasped the nettle well. ~T
I loved, "I know better with education and propaganda by my side." What a powerful indictment of our culture, world and history for history is full of this since the victors always write what they want us to hear. There is a huge gap between truth and reality. Is truth really the truth?
