Why?

Why won’t you look at me?
Is it a lack of eyes?

Why won’t you touch me?
Is it a lack of arms?

Why won’t you listen?
Haven’t you any ears?

Why won’t you love me?
Is it a lack of yourself?

Why have you fallen?
Did the world spin you out of control?

Why won’t you get up?
Does gravity press you to the ground?

Why won’t you help me?
Is it a lack of a soul?

Or have you lost the will
To even care?
