Her Afterlife
Her cold thighs soothed my joy.
I felt so generous knowing she didn't have yet a stare.
My hands pondering about her corpse, as i pulled my fingers through her hair.
Ive never felt so full in all of my life.
Just like the other day we would have been in a fight.
But today you cant speak, just moan in your time of afterlife.
I smile as fierce as ever, thinking of how things could get better.
I keep your corpse, and you keep your new life.
But i like you here, i like giving in to you, i love how i can spill all my hate inside you.
Im glad your gone haha ill begin to ponder on.

I love this one. I'm not entirely sure if the afterlife is a metaphor for moving on but the words 'in your time of afterlife.' sit beautifully and are well expressed in the context of the piece. For me, sometimes these lines take a poem somewhere it could never have gone without them.
Hope to read more of your work soon :) |

| strange poem, which at least made it interesting. i liked the content, i just felt it could have been expressed more creatively, as this felt very prosaic. |
