Rage and the Final Blow

She evokes rage within me,
and cruel words run deep
her tongue envenomed with death
touch my emotion's depth.
Speed justice that ever I seek
how vain the cries for relief
old age can mask a grin,
but the son will bear the sins.
They must share a common bond
death to all those born
as pain with injustice grows
I await the final blow.
