Bazura felt something nuzzle her as she opened her eyes.

She was back in her room on Earth.

“That was some dream. Strange but cool.” She thought.

She then saw something curled up on her bed.

It was Morrick.

“It wasn’t a dream after all.

So I am the new protector of Aria after all.

I hope I can do this.” She thought as he woke up.

“Good morning Bazura.” He said yawning.

Bazura couldn’t help but smile.

He was cute.

She then went to the kitchen but her parents weren’t there.

But then they appeared in a haze of magical energy.

“Sorry honey we were gone longer than we thought.

We need to talk.” Demi heard Kio say.

Bazura was nervous at that.

“W=What about?” she asked them.

“About Aria.” Demi answered.

The teen seemed to calm down at that.

“You are an Asiba and as long as time began, our family has been protecting Aria from it’s eviler beings.

Ogre Child was the first one to protect our kingdom by destroying Nalia and the shadow spirits through her Ogreix powers, her friends and her heart.

After that… we used our powers to stop any other evil beings from taking over both worlds.

Aria and this world., the world of mortals are joined together by an unseen bridge, a portal.

To pass through it and enter Aria, they must believe in the unseen and the mystical but also themselves.

For years since you were born we thought you would never become a warrior of Aria but it is your destiny.

Always know your mother and I will always be there to help you.” Kio explained to the teen.

Bazura was too speechless to reply.

They understood as she ate breakfast.

Morrick wondered what was wrong as she got dressed.

But she wouldn’t answer.

“It must be from what her parents said.

I know she may be weak and not confident now but once she becomes the protector of Aria and unleashes her powers, she’ll be strong.

She reminds me of Ogre Child when she first arrived in Aria and when her destiny was revealed by Shadowius.” He thought as he saw her grab her back pack and leave.

He then entered the living room.

Demi smiled seeing him there.

“I need you to do something for me.” She told him.

“Sure what is it?” he asked her.

“I… need you to look after Bazura, protect her.

It’s sort of your job as a Guardian.

She isn’t very strong and needs to learn before she can fully enter Aria.” She answered.

He nodded.

“I’ll try.

But all this is a little strange to her.

Maybe we should give her more time to adjust to it.” He answered.

“I know but every day Morgana grows stronger.

We can’t risk her winning.” Kio heard her say.

She saw Morrick’s ears droop sadly at that as he left.

Bazura was very quiet as she walked to school.

She was looking for the portal her mother had told her about but couldn’t find it.

Suddenly the wind blew harder.

“Believe in yourself Bazura and you will find it.” A voice said through the wind.

Bazura nodded as she ran to school.

It was nearly lunch time as Bazura opened her locker to put away her books when she saw Morrick in there.

“What’re you doing here?

… Are you okay?” she asked softly as he climbed into her back pack.

“I was told to come by some friends.

Besides I’m your Guardian.” He said.

“What’s a Guardian in Aria?” she asked curious.

“A Guardian is like the Protector of Aria’s helper, like a witch’s familiar but I… can be your friend.

In regards to your other question I don’t want to talk about it.

You don’t know what it’s like… to feel alone and a loser in life like I am.” He answered looking away from her.

“…. I do know what it’s like to be alone and a loser in life.

I feel that way every day… since the other kids found out I’m different and use a cane.

They never want to be my friends no matter how hard I try.

They make fun of me and treat me like a freak.

I have no friends.

I’m gifted in mind and song but nobody seems to care.” She explained to him.

“I see.

We are alike.

But your parents and everybody else in Aria, they’re putting pressure on me to help you enter Aria and I can’t take it.” He answered.

They had no idea somebody was watching them.

She was a slender, pale skinned teen.

She was from Aria too but not from Latanis or the Alcae Forest.

She was Morgana’s daughter that she had created from dark magic.

Her name was Eboni.

She had been instructed to make sure that Bazura couldn’t enter Aria.

Her eyes glowed with magic as she watched them.

But somebody else was watching them.

It was the new librarian.

He had kind eyes like Morrick’s, messy black hair, a little taller than he normally was.

He had no memory of who he was or what he did before coming to this world.

“Why is it when I look at that Psammrad lod, I feel like I know him?

But then my head hurts.” He said softly to himself.

Morrick looked into his eyes from the open back pack and gasped.

“Could it be after all this time?

I have to find out!” he thought as the human walked away.

Bazura wondered why Morrick was so quiet as they walked home from school.

But before he could answer, she heard cackling.

“W-Who’s there?

Show yourself!” she said nervously.

“Well if it isn’t the new protector of Aria.

It’s a shame you can’t get there!” a teen said as she stepped out of the darkness she was hiding in.

“My name is Eboni and it’s my job to see that you never defeat my mother!” she said as Bravery Suckers surrounded her along with Confidence Suckers.

Morrick was nervous as the Confidence Suckers tied them up in their vines while the Bravery Suckers lunged.

“P-Please don’t do this!” Bazura heard a voice say as Morrick was pulled out of the back pack.

“Well, well you’re her Guardian.

Who appointed a coward to her?

But you two suit each other.

Watch as I destroy him before your eyes.” Eboni yelled.

“No!

I won’t let you hurt him!

He’s my friend and I won’t let you or anybody hurt us!

That I promise.” Bazura thought as her whole body glowed.

“W-What’s going on?” Eboni yelled as the purple light nearly blinded her.

“Leave him alone!” Bazura roared as the light faded.

She had transformed into an Ogreix warrior but she was different.

She still had pale skin but had dark eyes which could see into people’s souls and hearts, black lips, pointy ears.

Her body was stronger now that it was more muscular than usual.

She could now crush the bones of any human, veast or evil being from Aria or her world if she wanted to.

She was in a suit of purple and black armour which couldn’t be broken or destroyed but it changed to the colour red because she was mad.

“We’ll meet again Bazura but next time I won’t be so nice.” Eboni told her vanishing.

“Yes Bazura you did it!

You became your warrior form.

I knew you could do it!” Morrick said hugging her as her armour changed back to normal.

“Thanks Morrick, I guess my heart is a powerful weapon.” She replied.

“Yes it was but now we must go home.

We will return at midnight.” Demi told her as they left.

But Morrick saw that librarian standing there, staring at him with a knowing smile as they left…
