LOVE, WAIT OUT THE STORM

REMEMBER THIS SUN-SODDEN DAY,
WHEN TOMORROW BRINGS ITS CLOUD.
RECALL THIS BREEZE IN GENTLEST PLAY,
WHEN COMING WINDS WAX LUNATIC AND LOUD.

REMEMBER THIS MAN’S EYES UPON YOU:
THE EUPHONIOUS LOVE THAT FROM THEM SINGS;
AND DISMISS THE CACOPHONY, DO,
TOMORROW’S TEMPEST AND THE BOY IT BRINGS.

SO OBVIOUS THE TRUTH OF THIS MEADOW,
THIS DAY OF SOFTLY SWAYING FLOWER AND STREAM;
WHERE NO WORD I ISSUE, EVEN SAID LOW,
CAN DENY MY HEARTBEATS, THE WORSHIPS THEY SCREAM.

YES, REMEMBER THIS ‘RUTH’- SODDEN HEART,
WHEN TOMORROW IS ATTIRED IN BLACK;
AND SIMPLY WAIT FOR THE STORM TO DEPART,
WAIT UNTIL STORMS NEVER, EVER COME BACK!

Some lovely imagery, but I feel it would be more effective if not in all caps.

Hey there :) I love how you've set this up, so sweet with angst, like the bookmark slipped from that cherished page. Thanks for this. A thorough piece. :) David.
