Are You in Christ?

Will you run from the shining One
when His glory is revealed?
Will you stand as a perfect man
when creation's scars are healed?
Is God's goodness your dearest gain--
His favor your fantasy?
Friend, will I from your presence fly
when He comes to earth for me?

Are you in Christ? Is Christ in you?
Is your gaze above, where a fount of love
makes our holy dream come true?
Are you expecting a resurrecting--
are you born once...or twice?
Is Christ in you? Are you in Christ?

In your scope is a glorious hope
if you choose to lay them down:
all your rights to the Lord of lights
for the mercy He has shown.
Are you ready to bend the knee--
do you long for His embrace?
Friend, will you join the chosen few--
has the Lord prepared your place?

Are you in Christ? Is Christ in you?
Do you seek no fame but for Jesus' name
and accept His word as true?
Your hesitation means separation--
He may not call you twice.
Is Christ in you? Are You in Christ?

Are you in Christ? Is Christ in you?
Will you gladly walk with His faithful flock
when our race divides in two?
The Savior's story gave hope of glory
because He paid the price.
Is Christ in you? Are you in Christ?
