The mirror
will show me the same reflection
again and again and

('she looks like you'
a woman smiles kindly at me
I cower behind you)

again and again

('don't listen to them'
the bullies are just sad
you tell me)

and I watch the candle in the hope

('tell me your problems'
it was like a sixth sense
you knew something was wrong)

that I'll shed a tear

('don't leave me'
you're sobbing
into my white, white blanket)

for my own death.

I'll shed a tear for your grief.

('goodbye'
I smile at you
and close my eyes)

Your face flashes before me again and

('my child'
you whisper softly...
I know you'll miss me)

again and again and

('I'll miss you too'
my mind sees my reflection.
It's so much like yours, mummy)

never to be seen
again.
