Never

You were the thing inside my dreams
regardless of how cliche' it seems
you took me from my reveries
and gave me cleaner air to breathe
too soon you had to go
if we'll meet again i'll never know
you gave me shelter and sinful bliss
and your kiss still lingers upon my lips
its not fair that you had to go
but you still stand outside my shadow

it reads very letter or memoir like. good display of memories, there are very little nouns being used just adjectives and verbs. not the fullest way of poetry writting, but it is emotionally effective and expressive.
