Therefore, I Let Them Pass
No one around me is in my life,
They are all just passing through;
Therefore, I let them pass,
As I pass through their lives too.
And soon I'll be alone,
As they all pass away.
And no one else will show,
My final passing day.

Even if someone shows presence at your funeral it doesn't really mean that they know you above an acquaintanceship level. for some odd reason western culture dictates an obligation to "mourn" (more like make an appearance at) the funerals of even the most remote acquaintance.
On a side note, for myself, final passing day doesn't mean funeral, but more of the final day I choose to live or the day of death. |

| Interesting. A dark take on the life we live. I like the thoughts here though. It is so rare to find someone on this Earth who you KNOW will be at your funeral, given they don't die first...i mean, you think you know someone but then..... |
