Unrequited

I see you. Etched onto my mind.
Firmly. Forever. Finally.
I can never leave you behind.
It's you I want, only for me.

It can't be. And it never will.
Your grace will not be mine. Never can
I touch you, against your own will.
I reach out, desiring your hand.

I look at you, I see the sun,
But hear thunder. I tire.
I want you. There is no fun
In an unrequited desire.

In grasping for you, I write reams.
I will never finish, it seems.

Hate to keep bringing up this 'rhythm' thing, but yeah it's really unique and I love it. Limerick like, but not so. Very beguiling.

The last stanza is my favourite. What a great way to end it. You certain have your own uniquie rhythm in your poetry. Very unique. Good job!

i like this too although the final line seems slightly clumsy to me, I don't know why- although that's probably just me!
