Beautiful People - An Eve to Remember

Eve's allure would arrive unexpectedly tonight, unknown to Jack, and certainly the rest of the group. Her presence was brisk, and a first look at her could soften your sight forever. The girl was well animated, some would say tireless, but she had a good heart, and her intentions were as pure as the sapphire in her eyes. The flowers seemed to bend for her as she passed, bowing to her unmatched beauty. Strawberry blonde to the shoulders up, a goddess by every measure, a devil in the life of a boy with a head full of drugs and uneasy implications. A cell phone was her weapon of choice...one ring delivered the winning headshot.
"Hello?"
"Hi...is this Jack?"
"Maybe...who's this?"
"I don't know if you remember me, I lived in the house next to your grandmothers. My name's Eve."
Of course he remembered her. Jack's heart fell onto his stomach not much like a heart would at all, but rather, an anvil...a heavy one. He choked on his next word.
"S..sure I remember. Eve, it's been a long time. How are you?"
"That's the thing, see...I'm not sure. I have to tell you about something that's been going on."
He could feel the tint of distress through the phone. He wanted to help her any way he could.
"What is it?"
"I'm not so sure you're going to believe me."
"Try me."
"I wish it were that easy...to just explain."
"It isn't?"
"No, it isn't. I haven't seen you in years Jack, I'm not really sure how to approach you about this."
"Just say whatever it is you need to say."
He knew it wasn't that easy, but he was running out of things to say.
"I'd actually like to talk to you about it in person, if that's okay. I'm in town, I was wondering if we could meet somewhere. Listen, I know this is weird and I know how long it's been cause it feels the same for me, but I really need to talk to you."
Jack's stomach was in knots at this point. What could be so drastically important as to scare this girl back into his life, and what in hell could it have to do with him? His reply was laced with utter confusion.
"Okay...but when?"

Great word choice and flow. I like how it ends! Well written, I would reorganize the dialgue a little though. It runs to long without any verbal ownership.
