Don't judge me

You wouldn't match me with my poems
If you saw me in public somewhere
With my happy mask painted on
And my dark blonde hair
People say I'm too innocent
But they don't have a clue
Because people also say I'm a good actress
And that, my friend, is true
Punk/Goth wannabe
That's what they say
I know no different than my mask in public
And I don't want to fry my hair black every day
So don't judge people by the hollow husk of their appearance or sham
Or you might be the next one who's slammed
