Rhythm

Dancing, gyrating, swaying, bobbing
To the beat of the music
Dim lights, black lights, spotlights
World dimmed out by cascading sound
And no one even cares
Slow, fast, head bashing
Hypnotizing, mesmerizing
The people are
Joyful, drunk, captivated
Music
Enthralling, intriguing, moving
With a life of its own
Care to dance?

You're welcome.
And what do you mean you don't love the last line? It adds spice to it!
...Eh, well. I guess you have to be entitled to your own opinion, too.

"Blue Water Baptism"

by Kimberley Linstruth-Beckom

"Blue Water Baptism" is my second collection of poems ranging in topic from views on death, God, friendships, and society. These poems were written in the course of ten years and show the "20-something" state of mind that transitions into a "30-something" mentality.
