An Insatiable Necessity

Oh, do you miss being kissed?

Do you secretly reminisce over that lovely, sweet wetness?

The way tongues intermingling

Cause a deep, very much-needed inner tingling

Mmm, an insatiable necessity

Is the lack thereof beginning to agitate thee?

That soft fullness that evokes beautiful passion

If only love allotted even a fraction of a ration

Then your heart would not be forced to depend upon fantasies so intense

Of your lover blessing you with a deliciously tantalizing, hungry, wet kiss

"if only love alloted even a fraction of a ration" rolls off the tongue like cunnilingus... Mmmm indeed.

You write so truly and with passion. The two poems I've read so far have been about subjects I've never seen attempted before...

You're GReat.

A very nice poem! Have you ever read John Donne's "A Valediction: Forbidding Mourning." It's a longer piece with the same theme you have in your poem about lovers not needing the physical to stay in love.

I don't remember when I had a kiss described like that before!
