IF

If, I would be the almighty God,
I would had changed this ruthless world,
I would bring all the heavenly creatures here,
And make it a dreams world.

If, I would be the emperor of this world,
I would had cleaned all the corrupted one's,
I would make all the world trouble free,
And make it a worth place to live.

If, I would be a mother,
I would had taught every child to be a good example,
None of the child could had been a rebel then,
How wonderful world it would be to live in.

If I would be a father,
I would had given a great guidance to my child,
My child would be the country changer then,
How wonderful youth there would be then.

If I would loose everything, that I had belonged,
Then, I would gather myself again and reestablish me,
I would make other kneel at my courage,
How wonderful example I would be.

But, it's only for if,
If is just imagination,
It does not costs me money so I can just say if,
But for the present I am in, I am not caring,
We can change our self but we are not worried about it,
Because we want to live in if, but not in reality, which has more power than if.

I love to read works by those for whom English is not a first language, an extra level of charm and meaning is inserted, albeit accidentally, but nonetheless intriguing. Lovely work, thank you

In the beginning I was thinking those are pleasant ifs' but not real.. then I reached the last stanza and there it was... Lovely.

I love this poem. It truly deals with the questions and longings of "if only" that we exist in because we don;t make the effort to change the word. Of course at not everything in the poem could be realized because to live in a perfect world, humans would have to be perfect. We are flawed. We were given free choice and we chose evil as well as good. That is why bad things occur in my opinion. Although, that is probably oversimplifying the problem. The poem is beautiful in and of itself. I truly did enjoy reading it.
