My head hits the pillow, a weeping willow
I can't sleep, a pain so deep it bellows
But these cellos, help just to keep me mellow
Hands on my head, touch knees to elbows
I'm hunched over emotion just flows over
These cold shoulders are both frozen
You don't know me
I keep saying it, I can't stress it enough

i am a 20 year old woman and mother to a 1 year old son. i love poetry and expression. living life each day as it comes and learning from every experience is how i live. i love to see the beauty in everything and try to be as positive as i can in a world that is as dark as hell is hot. i love to write of love and joy as much as anger and despair because just as i am conflicted with these emotions - the rest of the world is too and i believe relating to one another is the key to happiness and fufilment
ive been writing since i can remember and it is my greatest escape and release. i love to write for the idea of the piece, to ponder lifes reason and push the limits of why we are the way we are. i write whats in my heart at the moment or whats been on my mind for days.
most things i post were written months or years ago, but ive found inspiration in reading other peoples work and i hope someone has found that through my work as well.
