Born and raised in southern Louisiana, I'm a small girl with high hopes. I have been in various singing competitions and have been a member of my community's Gifted program for nearly two and a half years -- I went into it with the dream of professionalism.
Since I was ten, though, my pen has hit paper and hasn't stopped. I write with ambition and I believe that it's my true calling in life because, simply put: when I write, I know nothing else, and nothing can be better than escaping into a world you make exist.
I have lived in Louisiana all of my life but I plan to break free after graduation from either high school or college. I work with an online teen magazine where I submit an article monthly and I also role play with my best friend, which we consider probably the highest form of practice -- I write every day in some form or another and i'm often the one you see ignoring the Biology notes in order to finish a story or article on time.
I plan to meet more writers and get more work out as I grow older and hopefully, before I graduate high school, to gain some kind of higher recognition as the writer I am.
