Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, Robert Sells is a graduate of West Side High School. He received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Indiana University-Northwest. He has been writing since age 11. He enjoys writing poetry, reading, singing with his church??s praise team and spending time with his wife, Marlas and daughter, from a previous marriage. He is a member of Embassies of Christ Kingdom Ministries in Gary, Indiana. He and his wife reside in Merrillville, Indiana. WORDS OF INSPIRATION: A Collection of Poems For The One You Love is his first book.
Taking a cue from the psalmist David, he realized his conversations with God were more than just mere talks. God spoke to him, he says, in the form of poetry that would bless not only him but others as well. WORDS OF INSPIRATION: A Collection Of Poems For The One You Love ($9.95, ISBN 0-9765394-4-0), an inspiring book of poetry, took shape because the he listened to God??s direction. He says, ??God told me to write and so I did.? Now he is sharing those conversations with God with the world.
Robert is now hard at work on his second book of poetry as well as a short story novel, which he is co-writing with his wife Marlas, both of which will be released by fall of 2007.
