Brooks St. John was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in England to a black Native American family. First published at the age of five, her writing aspirations were temporarily quenched with her passion for music and art. But eventually her soul wandered back to its destined path, and in 2003 she began writing screenplays for submission to such fellowships as AMPAS, Sundance Film, and Walt Disney. After receiving high praise and an honorable mention for the script ??Sons of England,? Brooks quit her job as a professional photographer and continued on her path to literary works, science fiction/fantasy, and the pursuit to expound on spiritual myths and beliefs through various genres of writing.
