Behcet Kaya was born in a small village in northeastern Turkey. While living in Atlanta he followed his creative yearnings, attended Alliance Theatre School, studied at the SAG Conservatory of Georgia and earned his SAG card. In 1994 Behcet and his wife moved to Los Angeles. Voice of Conscience is his first novel.
