I wonder if I'll ever not be a beginning writer. I've had a long standing interest in short stories, encouraged by teachers in high school and college, but little time to pursue. I've had two stories published by small journals several years ago, both of which are long gone. I'll probably post mostly stories.
I've written a number of sappy love poems to my wife which she threatens to bring out and show our friends, sort of like a parlor game, "Let's Humiliate Brian!" I was forced to write other poems in a creative writing course in college, which I might review and post.
I served 20 years in the Air Force, and now I'm an IT project manager with a large aerospace defense firm.
I'm still married (despite the poems) and we have 4 kids (2 adopted). The kids and the house take up most of my time, but I'm into sports and reading (favorite authors: Lee Child, Brian Haig, Robert K. Tannenbaum, Ted Bell, John Grisham).
