I write about the flip side of life...best known for lengthy, insightful well-researched feature articles on groundbreaking or risky subjects. I currently write a blog about the dark side of Internet dating, and am finishing a memoir, Escargot for Breakfast and a novel, Letting My Freak Flag Fly. I've written for Sunset, SF Weekly, The Metro, Gentry, Bay Area Business, San Jose Mercury News, Whole Life Times, City Sports, Upside and other publications. A graduate of the Maui Writer's Retreat with a BA in Journalism, I'm also a member of the Red Room Writer's Society. I perform as an oral storyteller at with the Renegade Women storytelling troupe, at Memoir Spool and on the new podcast "A Taste of Sex."
