Cipi is from Kangaroo valley which is always good to tell people, specially overseas. It conjures up grassy paddocks fresh dew-faced joeys hopping close to gentle mother kangaroos and strapping, responsible father beasts. The reality is that there are not many kangaroos in Kangaroo valley. This makes kangaroo valley families inclined to take kangaroos into their homes - i.e injured off the roads, smuggled from other states etc. to make up for the unfullfillment of the town's name. When Cipi was a child, she was sexually harrassed by a kangaroo. This might sounds funny, but what does one do when its an animal is being inappropriate, espicially to a young country virgin. Like children and women, animals should not be physically punished. Cipi was too ashamed to tell her family what was going on, the humiliation she was suffering from the very pet her parents had allowed me to rear. Anyway, they sent him away, for what invention she forgets. Cipi knows you're all thinking this is a tall story, but an adopted sulphur crested galah followed that kangaroo to the blue mountains, flying above the vehicle. A week later, the two returned. Luckily Cipi's parents had, by chance, decided to move closer into town. Towards the end of her youth, the Cipi moved to Sydney. She knew no one and nothing. Then she made some friends and moved in with them. They proved to be some of the greatest legends of our time.
