Originally from Omagh, Country Tyrone, Colin Dardis now resides in Belfast, where he currently hosts a monthly poetry night, called Make Yourself Heard. He is also the editor of Speeh Therapy, which focused on new poetry from the North of Ireland.
Previously, Colin has been a co-ordinator of Poetic Splendour, a monthly performance poetry night in Belfast, and has worked as a Poet In Motion for the New Belfast Community Arts Initiative. Notable readings include the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, Between The Lines and the Castlereagh Verbal Arts Festival.
His poem 'Perhaps' won the Edit Red 2006 Writer's Choice Award for Poetry.
Colin's work has been published in the Black Mountain Review, Poetry Now, Street Seen, Decanto and Laika Poetry Review, amongst others.
