Connie Sorensen is a Utah (yes Mormon) writer. She started writing in High School, then took and extended break to become a wife, mother and nurse. She was diagnosed with a progressive retinal disorder in 1995, and retired from nursing in 2000, as her blindness progressed. With adaptive software and a large support system she began to write again. Her first short story (non-fiction) was published in 2002, and she is currently a staff writer for a women's e-zine is primarily related to the LDS (Mormon) community.
