I am a poet, a teacher, a wife, and an optimist. These are the things that define me most. I like to smile, to have fun, to enjoy the sunshine, to hang out with good friends. There is nothing better in the world than a good conversation, snuggling up to my husband, grilling on the beach, being captivated by a book, traveling, writing something clear and true, having strong relationships with family, a nice bottle of wine, and music that makes me feel good. I want to live to enjoy each moment with all five of my senses.
