I’m a sultry Southern siren, love art and artists and the very few unique and original individuals who roam this earth.
I’m primarily a writer (when not being ground to dust by the daytime gig in academia) but do a little photography now and then. The words in my brain just burn to be let out – while as of late I tend to be too impatient with the slow processes and technical details of photography.
Got my start over 20 years ago as an editor of a small-town Southern newspaper – there were only 3 on our staff and I had to learn to do everything. I also have a motley collection of older Nikons and Canons and Leicas, I’ve just the past couple of years begun to get into digital.
I love intensity—in images, in prose content, and in words in general.
P. S. I've been published in a huge number of ezines and print zines, and I do regular columns in a couple currently, it would take me all night to put them all down here.
