Jason M.W. hails from a small town in Northern California, where he was born into poverty, neglect, the son of drug addicted parents. Run-ins with KKK, white power, diverse ethnicities, friendships and hardships, Jason set his sites higher than the ambitions of those around him. In 2006, while on permanent hiatus from his family and his past, Jason won the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association's collegiate conference first-place awards in writing excellence and feature story writing. That summer, he was published in an experimental fiction anthology, Northwest Edge 3: End of Reality, and has since devoted his college career to the study of the human dynamic. Jason and his long-time pal, Brandon Van Bibber, are currently working on a private publishing venture. The book, Low Tones, will feature Jason and Brandon's finest writing achievements to-date, and is slated to hit shelves by the summer of 2007.
