I am originally from Saltburn, on the north-east coast of North Yorkshire, but I was brought up all over England. Despite this, I am supporter of the national team in red - yes, the name is real! I graduated with a degree in English Literature, minoring in Philosophy. Lived most of the last 16 years in Turkey, Germany, Holland and England teaching English and learning new languages. I write poetry in both English and Turkish. I have recently completed a play based on experiences of living in Istanbul for 4 years.
