I am an old hippie born in Dallas, Texas who lived on the edge partying, playing guitar,drums and singing in bands, sketching and drawing, bartending and traveling all over the United States until I was bribed into going back to school to finish my education with an Austin Healey Sprite.
I received my Bachlors of Science in 1989 and my Masters Degree in 1994, while teaching in Dallas.
I organized Heavy Metal concerts in the Denison area for ten years, booked metal and punk rock bands for MDA and United Way. I was diagnosed with an illness in 2000 that caused me early retirement. I've been writing ever since.
I have a reputation of being a "grammar nazi" because I taught English. An "I" that isn't capitalized is my biggest pet peeve.
