have been writing for as long as i can remember. have also worked as a development officer. made the final shortlist in the first bbc playwiriting competition in 1999. was a participant in the crossing borders online mentoring programme organised by the british council and lancaster university in 2004/5. won the african regional prize in the commonwealth short story competition for 2005. won the association of nigerian authors short fiction prize in 2006. was shortlisted and highly recommended in the jerry jazz short story contest in 2005. made the shortlist for the association of nigerian authors prose pirze for 2007. work has appeared in the crossing borders magazine, buran, okike, my trousers are longer than yours and fingernails across a chalkboard among others.
