Rick Chiantaretto is a student at Weber State University where he is studying computer science and English. He writes as a fiction columnist at Scribe and Quill Magazine, and is a regular volunteer at the Utah Humanities Council (where his favorite work is helping with the Great Salt Lake Book Festival). He is a writer of horror and dark fantasy, with a flair for satire. His first book Façade of Shadows (a novel about Egyptian legend and modern vampires) is now available. Rick is also a member of the League of Utah Writers. A native of West Valley City, Utah, Rick stays busy with his own technology company, Sentinel Technology, and hopes for a career in computer security. That is, if he doesn't become a best selling author first.
