Artist/Author Bio: I am a Filipino, located in a small province in the Philippines, and a 17-year-old Nursing student who loves ART. My three main interests are writing (mostly poetry and usually in free verse or prose poems), digital art and photography. After the four years that I will spend working for my BSN degree in our university, I wish to take up a course on photography. I have been doing digital art for 5 years, mostly graphic design for my websites, but I only focused on photomanipulations in early 2007. I designed websites in 2001, however, I stopped in early 2006 because I had to focus more on my academics at high school, since I was graduating then. I am glad though that now I can manage to juggle my school work and my art. Currently I am a beginner trying out/experimenting with fashion photography and portraiture, working with a Canon Powershot A570 IS. I have also been focusing more on my photomanipulations and always looking for ways on how I can improve my skills. As a young artist, I make it a point to create things using my own style which I am developing, hence my works are always products of concepts I think deeply of. As of the moment, I am building up my gallery with improved creations while cleaning it up in the process, getting rid of some old art which I no longer desire. As for my writing, I've been in our high school paper and I was editor-in-chief until my graduation in school year 2005-2006. I've represented the region in national journalism competitions for three years straight. Now, I do more poetry and less of journalism, as I write to express myself.
I Love: GOD; gothic, orchestra & new age MUSIC; trailer & movie SOUNDTRACKS; the sound of the PIANO; gazing at the NIGHT SKY; watching tear jerking romance, comedy, action, adventure and fantasy DVDs at home on dark, cold, rainy afternoons; photography & digital ART; Warcraft DotA with friends; SINGING at the top of my lungs; WRITING poetry, stories, or life experiences in my journal; DRAWING dragonflies, butterflies and angel-winged hearts on handouts during Patho & Pharma lectures.
I Want: to be a band singer, film writer, photographer, graphic designer, novelist, and more. But then again, I'm a Nursing student and will be a nurse in the near future. I really wanna do the above mentioned though, especially photography and digital art as a sideline.
