Gerunds et expletives. Grammar embedded. Semantics to paw at (ended with preposition!) Fragments. Orders of punctuation ? The rules were learned (no passive sentences!) until the brain doth bleed.
The primal beast knows life to the fullest. He has known more fear and happiness than we may ever experience. And yet he neither speaks nor comprehends a gob of human speech. Save Inflectionâ??that embodiment of intention.
It is the beasts who may relax as kings.
It is the beasts who die as warriors.
Antlike we record our life-long dreariness for the sake of contentment. And only that: to be content as slugs. All the trails of mortal calculation. The lawyerâ??s own extensive definitions! Forests dying to save our asses and tie the knot on the ankles of scapegoats.
Arguments and wars the world over begin with words. Or their absence. Could you not think of quite the right word, would your enemy be your friend? Without the elegance of an orator, would your country salute you?
All the titlesâ??the Devilâ??s own toysâ??stuff prejudice with stereotype. Connotations divided by culture. Sarcastic humor and malapropisms. All brewing and popping at the hiss of the stirring warlock. Semantics.
Yet for some reason I write. I write and I write. I will and I always have. Whether eyes may read or souls may care, I write. Should you understand or misinterpret, I am locked in the flume. To create with words is my endless addiction. And I love them all, these dangerous wordsâ?¦
