He is a former nondenominational minister, chaplain, and president of Christian Leadership Training Institute (serving about 500 students a day on line). George, now being semi retired, had the time to develop the book from the six year on line training program (with a heavy dose of counseling training) he currently runs for non-denominational Christian leaders in organized and house churches.
He was, he explained, captivated by the challenges the world faces and wanted to provide answers. George decided to use the practical answers developed during the creation of the training program for the leaders over 15 years to produce something for the average person. The impetus for this was the countless emails he received indicating how his lessons had impacted their life s.

His religious experiences include his whole life. He was born to a very religious mother. The earliest memories includes building an altar with his grandfather. He served as a altar boy and won religious awards in the boy scouts. He went to religious schools including a training school for religious educators. He served as: Facilitator of Small Groups, Director of Adult Ministries, Minister of the Sick and Dying, etc..
His personal life includes walking with his wife, reading mysteries, playing on the computer, visiting with the daughter and her family, hiking, exercising and more.
