It's in the July issue of Harper's Magazine.

Part-time jounralist Duncan Murrell came to live in Post-Katrina New Orleans & wrote an impressive piece called:

IN THE YEAR OF THE STORM: The Topopgraphy pf Resurrection in New Orleans.

i highly recommend picking up a copy & reading it to understand just what we are going through.

Here's a snipet: "The city was not entirely lifeless. There were weeds, mold, spiders, butterflies, moths, and dogs. Especially dogs, rooting through piles of garbage..."

It has made some of my Katrina-kissed friends cry.
