In meeting up with and hanging out with other writers in KC, two of my homeboys have since started up Offbeatpulp.com, an online literary magazine that includes the submissions of poets and fiction authors from across the U.S. This summer, they have planned an outrageous weekend of partying, barbecuing, a reading event, and your basic, everyday general mayhem to entertain these writers from as far away as California and New York for three days.
