I started out reading before I could even talk. When I could talk, I would tell people what to write down for me and then I would make a little story.
In first grade I started my own series that I had had in my head for quite some time. It was quite dumb, but pretty good for that age being. At that age all my friends were in love with celebrities; Britney Spears, Nsync, people we find pretty gay now. So my story was about this 12 year old girl Jessica (who later I decided was a young Jessica Simpson) who has an annoying 10-year-old brother Timothy (Tim McGraw), and a bunch of celebrity siblings. Jessica and her friends (based off my real life friends) decided to build a clubhouse, soon to be rivaled by her brother's. Her brother's club members turned out to by none other then the child-versions of Nsync. Jessica falls in love with Lance Bass and they start going out until they find out Jessica's mom is dating Lance's dad.
Then the series continues into four other books. They are each between 94-106 pages long, with a picture on each page and games in the back.
Since then I spent most of my time writing stories until the start of sixth grade (I am still in sixth grade). I still write stories, but I now also write more poetry and songs. I have been a song writer since I was seven, but I am more serious now and the songs are better. I have over a hundred I haev written in the past 10 months, though i keep losing my notebooks. The longest story I have ever written in a short period of time was a few weeks ago, for school. In nine days (a week over the limit) I wrote a 53 page manuscript which some day if I am not procrastinating will type up and maybe try to get published. People ask me if I want to be an author when I grow up, and I say that for now it is just a hobby, not something I want as a profession, even though some of my classmates have been bugging me saying I could be a child J.K. Rowling, but whatever. I'm focused on living my current and hopefully long-lasting dreams, becoming a superstar, like a model/singer/songwriter/actress, having I guess a few things published later in time.
