I originally hail from the north east of England, but left my home town when I was 18. Due to a tumultuos youth I moved about a bit battling with bad job after bad job and sruffy shared houses untill settling in Leeds about 8 years ago with my lovely husband. I am also a mother of two and I currently work for Leeds City Council as a youth worker.I am waiting to start an MA in Youth and Community studies this coming academic year.
I started writing when I was a child and spent most of my time with a pen in my hand. I have never done anything serious with it, but it is something that I have always enjoyed.
My favourite poets are Christina Rosetti and Rainer Maria Rilke
