My name is John Agene. l have been writing for eight years now .I have a certificate in Diploma in Law. I am presently working to get a degree in English language. l have written three collections of poems. The first is ‘my African childhood’, a collection of long prose poetry. The second is ‘white love’ and the third is ‘the African woman.’ l am also working on my first novel, almost to be completed. I have entered into various poetry competitions and been asked permission to feature my poems in their various magazines. This is my first collection which I have decided to have published. This collection is written in subtle manners. I avoid using too much literary terms. My dream is to see my poems published in pocket size hard cover and read for the purpose which it was written: to change the manner people view marriage, love, and nature. I believe a copy should be in the hands of every person, both single and married.
